95% say they procrastinate.
Are the other 5% being honest with themselves?
I'm guessing not. We ALL procrastinate at some point.
The question is, is your procrastination hindering you?
There are lots of tools and resources to help - planners, focus exercises, rewards for progress, etc.
These can certainly help but sometimes we need to think more deeply in order to make significant and lasting progress.
Get out of your head, drop into your heart, and ask yourself these questions:
1. Am I sabotaging an area of my life by not completing this task?
Maybe you're not feeling ready.
Perhaps you believe you're not good enough.
You could also be afraid you will fail.
2. What is the resistance about?
You may not want to do it.
The task may not be interesting or difficult, time-consuming, lacking any reward, etc.
Perhaps you need to just DO IT, HIRE IT, or CHUCK IT.
Doing it could involve making a game of it, collaborating with someone else, removing distractions, or just taking the first step.
3. How does holding on to this task serve me?
