Hello Jeanne!
Artificial intelligence is changing the way leaders work. It can help us write better proposals, polish reports, build presentations, and organize our thoughts in seconds. That's a tremendous advantage.
But leadership isn't built on what you write - it's built on the conversations you have.
AI can't sit across from a struggling employee, navigate a difficult board discussion, coach a rising leader, or inspire a team during uncertainty. It can't replace the ability to listen deeply, ask the right question at the right time, read what isn't being said, or choose words that build trust.
As we rely more on AI to strengthen our written communication, we must be equally intentional about strengthening our interpersonal communication. Are we becoming better listeners? Better coaches? Better leaders?
The leaders who will stand out won't simply be those who know how to use AI. They'll be the ones who know when to close the laptop, look someone in the eye, and have the conversation that no technology can have for them.
What type of leader will you choose to be?
Be. Here. Now.
